This introductory microbiology course is designed specifically for students pursuing allied healthcare careers. The course provides a foundational understanding of microbiology, emphasizing the relevance of microorganisms to healthcare settings. Through virtual labs and interactive modules, students will explore the basic principles of microbiology, gaining insights into the role of microorganisms in health and disease. This course does not fulfill a major requirement for Cell & Molecular Biology or Ecology & Evolutionary Biology.
