Theatre Design, BFA

The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in design/technology is intended for students who want professional training in theatre production. For admission to the program, students must apply during their sophomore year to the Head of the Design Program.
Students pursuing this bachelor’s degree must earn a minimum of 30 credit hours in the Newcomb-Tulane College core curriculum, 120 credit hours in their degree and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.000. More information on degree and core curriculum requirements can be found here.

Curriculum Requirements
An early decision to pursue a BFA in Theatre Design/Tech is encouraged due to the demands of the program. Students will work with faculty in their area(s) of interest to craft a specific selection of courses to develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
