The balance of the credits will be selected from the list of courses offered in a range of departments and from the second year-long course. At least one course must be taken from two different time periods: ancient, medieval, Renaissance, and modern; and at least one course must be taken from two different fields: art history, classics, history, The balance of the credits will be selected from the list of courses offered in a range of departments and from the second year-long course. Students will design their program of study in consultation with an adviser in the department of their principal interest assigned to them by one of the co-directors after an initial interview. Students are required to complete Italian 203 or equivalent.

N.B. In the case of courses with multiple possible topics, topics concerning Rome or Italy will apply to the Italian Studies major and minor.
