SOCI 660 Social Policy and Evaluation Research

Course focuses on the applied methods required to determine whether an intervention (or policy) achieve intended ends. Relevant topics include: problem identification, needs assessment, values clarification, policy description, evaluative tools, ethical considerations, problems and pitfalls of applied evaluative research, and efficiency and cost-benefit analysis.
