LING 640 Language Encoding Culture (Capstone)

An exploration of the formal linguistic realizations (at all levels of analysis: phonetic, phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic and pragmatic) of the correlations of language with cultural constructs, concepts and practices. This course serves as the Linguistics capstone and is open only to majors. Other departments offer courses with linguistic import as well.
